I picked this up to try to help with some fungus gnats we have in our sun room. We have numerous house plants and a grow tent in the same room. We noticed an increase in fungus gnats around our house plants and did not want this to be an issue with our grow tent. Additionally, one of our pigeon peas has picked up some aphids from outside and we were hoping this would take care of those as well.

The good news is that this did the trick for the fungus gnats. I misted both sides of the leaves and the top of soil several times and we've noticed a decrease in fungus gnats. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to help with the aphids.

The spray smells great and has a peppermint aroma. I didn't notice any adverse signs on the plants after treating the leaves wtih this several times. Long story short - works great for fungus gnats and not so much for aphids. Overall, this is another great product from Athena that I'm happy to recommend.

Early in the summer we thought we had a fruit fly breakout and we treated it as we always do, put out some home made traps and soon they will be gone. Well we captured a few flying insects, but they weren't fruit flies, but as it turns out, they were fungus gnats! The scourge of the houseplant world! We had adopted a few houseplants and apparently, they brought these pests with them. We tried sticky traps first. While that seemed to be catching some, with over 50 plants, the gnats seemed to be winning. Then we added another weapon and that was to water the soil each week with a Mosquito bits product. This was aimed to kill the larvae before they could take flight and start mating. That helped, but the gnats were still winning! I finally found this product and decided to give it a try.

The all natural ingredients of the YARDi spray is what sold me to at least try it. Honestly, it has been a game changer. One month after getting this spray, I think we finally are about done with these pesky fungus gnats! Now I will say, we continued all 3 methods (sticky traps, mosquito bits and a once a week spraying with this product. So while I can't say this product is what did the work alone, it seems to really have changed the population of the gnats rather quickly.

It is pretty easy to use, but I do wish the spray was better at giving out just a fine mist. You have to really play with the nozzle to get it as close to a mist as possible, but I would still prefer more of a really fine mist. Seems like it would make for better coverage and less overspray and waste of the product. I really don't understand the streaming option on the sprayer, but it is probably a generic spray nozzle. Halfway through the bottle, we decided to transfer the remaining product into one of our nice misting bottles, that was the way to go.

Overall, a good premixed, easy to use, safe product with natural ingredients and one that I can confidently say really helped take out our fungus gnats. Decent value and a product I would recommend. I would just recommend transferring the liquid to a better spray bottle, it will last longer.

I’m very happy with this plant spray. It’s easy to apply and convenient to have on hand when I notice pests around my houseplants. The 32 oz bottle is a great size and makes treating multiple plants simple. I like that it’s easy to use as part of my regular plant-care routine, and my plants look healthier and happier. Living in Central Florida, I deal with fungus gnats more than I’d like to admit. Between the humidity and keeping plants inside to escape the heat, gnats and mildew can pop up fast. I tried this YARDi spray on a few of my houseplants that were starting to show signs of gnats and a little mold around the soil, and it worked better than I expected.

The spray is ready to use, which I appreciate. No mixing, no measuring — just shake it and spray. It has a light scent, not harsh or chemical‑heavy, and it didn’t bother me or the dogs. I used it on pothos, a peace lily, and a couple of herbs I keep in the kitchen, and none of them reacted badly.

For fungus gnats, it really does kill on contact. I sprayed the top layer of soil and around the pot edges, and I saw an immediate difference. It doesn’t magically erase an infestation overnight, but it absolutely knocks them down and keeps them from flying around the house. After a few days of consistent use, the gnats were basically gone.

It also helps with mold and mildew, especially that white fuzzy layer that sometimes shows up on damp soil. The spray cleared it up without damaging the plant or leaving residue on the leaves.

The bottle is a full 32 oz, so you get plenty to work with. The sprayer has a steady, even mist — not one of those cheap nozzles that dribble or clog. I used it indoors without any overspray issues.

This houseplant pest and disease spray uses mostly natural ingredients. Peppermint and Cinnamon oils act as a deterrent to pests that find the smells offensive. The citric acid is what can actually kill pests, though it is a very low concentration in this product, so not sure just how effective it is at "killing on contact". I have been fighting fungus gnats in my house plants all summer, using sticky traps, bottle catchers and neem oil in the soil. Let me tell you, this spray smells a whole lot better than that neem oil! The smell is quite pleasant, just peppermint and cinnamon. At first, I had a problem with the sprayer - it is industrial! That thing will spray a stream so hard it might rip a leaf off the plant or just splatter all over everything. I didn't think it had a spray option, but it is just very sensitive. When using the sprayer, turn the nozzle very slowly until you are able to squeeze the trigger on the sprayer. That is how you get it to spray instead of stream which makes it a lot easier to coat a plants leaves. I don't see a use for the stream option, so it would be better with an easier to control spray nozzle. I have over 100 plants in the house and was able to treat all of them with the spray with less than half the bottle, so it does provide a good amount of coverage. I've already nearly eliminated all of the gnats with the sticky traps but hope this treatment will take care of the last few. Time will tell, but for now, I don't see any of the little buggers flying around me. When I placed my order, the item was priced at $21.99, which seems a bit high, but well worth it to control them tiny pests that love to find our houseplants.

I was recently gifted a money tree. After 2 weeks in my house i noticed something growing on it. I took it outside and saturated the tree with it. It my have been overkill, but I diod not want any of my other plants infected. @ weeks later it is all cleared up and the money tree is safe to be around other plants. It is now in the garage waiting for my next infestation.

I’m so happy to finally have something that works on the pesky fungus gnats in my indoor plants. I was getting to the point where I thought I might have to throw one of my plants away because of how bad the problem had gotten. This spray was honestly a miracle for me and has made a huge difference.

I really like that it’s ready to use, so there’s no mixing or measuring. It’s easy to spray directly on the plants, and I also like that it helps with other common plant pests and fungus issues. The peppermint and cinnamon oils are a nice bonus, too. Overall, I’m really happy with how well this has worked for my plants, and for the price, I think it’s a great value.

Our plants were full of gnats, fruit flies, or whatever they were. I could not sit anywhere without those little pests flying around my face. As soon as I got this bottle, I sprayed my plants and have not had one gnat dive me since. All I can guess is that the gnats return to the plants to feed and sleep so even the ones flying around were killed. We tried everything, but othing worked until this Yardi pest killer. The best news, is it's not expensive, and even if it was, being free of those flying pests would be worth it.

Have not had a chance to actually test this on pests since there was not an infestation this time of season, but I am sure they will show up eventually. In the meantime, I have been applying it regularly as a preventive and have had no issues so far.

I have some kind of weird worm looking things that get on one of my plants, and they freak me out. I don't know where they're coming from, but they've gotta go. This stuff did a good job of sending them all to worm heaven. It came sealed well so that it didn't leak, and then I just had to take off the cap and seal, screw in the sprayer part, and start spraying. Then of course I had to clean up the little dead worm bodies before my dog tried to eat them. If I have a problem again in the future, I will definitely get more of this.

The spray bottle arrives sealed and you need to attach the spray nozzle. This is a great setup for spray bottles that need to be shipped. You are much less likely to have any spills. Mine arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together.

The tip of the spray nozzle twists from off to spray to stream. There is no setting. The more you twist the nozzle, the faster to contents spray out. It is very sensitive. You only need to rotate it a tiny bit to get a spray.

I have a plant that had a few tiny bugs (likely gnats). I wanted to spray it before they got out of control. I used this spray on the soil once a week ago and I have not seen a single bug since. I will give it another spraying soon and hopefully the bugs won't come back.
