Total nitrogen, balanced for sturdy stems and leaves without forcing leggy growth
This is a good fertilizer blend. As said on the description it is more of an early season fertilizer. I used it on some greens after putting them in the ground to encourage better root growth. It seems to be pretty effective, my ones fertilizer with this 2 weeks ago are a bit larger than the ones which were not. Being greens they will be getting more nitrogen after the initial watering, but it seems to work for better roots. Proce is high but being a concentrate if you garden year round then this is probably worth picking up. I plan to just use this as things go into the ground and as garden beds rotate seasonally.Its easy to mix, did not include a measurment spoon but its 1-2T per gallon so add8ng 2T to a gallon watering can is easy and most people have what they need for it.Smell is.. typical for fertilizer. Earthy with a hint of like swamp smell. Its not bad buts its fragrent.Overall its a good way to feed your plants early season. Its expensive but seems worth it for the produce you can produce. Its made my greens grow faster as they went into the ground and I will keep experimenting with other things as the season progresses.
There have been no complaints from my garden with this plant food, at least nothing has died and everything is green. It seems to be a decent value for the money and the container shipped with no leakage or problems. It smells a little funny but I would expect that.
What an excellent blend of nutrients for my garden! This is a VERY concentrated plant food and it will last me at least this entire growing season. It is an excellent value for the quantity you get, seeing as how you dilute it tremendously. It arrived well sealed without any leakage. It looks very green, which to me just screams HEALTHY PLANTS! It smells like you would think a concentrated plant food smells.It is very easy to use. You can either mix it up and apply it to the base of plants so it seeps into their roots, or you can bottom feed a pot if you have things potted that can be partially submerged into a shallow trough so that the plant food seeps into the plants through the base of the pot and goes directly into the roots.I think this would work for more than just brassicas and greens, even though that is what it is specifically formulated for.Just really happy with this.
This may be my way to achieve green-thumb status after many years of failure! It's simple to use and very convenient for a gallon container. I am sure other products work well too, but I've never been successful due to the formulas, the schedules, etc.After two weeks I've seen good results. My basil looks green. My pandan plant looks green. My green onions look green and thriving. I am happy.
